Fragile Packaging Service

Practical guidance to help you choose and prepare the right shipment.

Cardboard boxes ready for packing
Fragile packaging

Fragile goods need packaging designed for the item, not just a fragile label. Share the contents and dimensions so the team can review packing and carrier handling options.

Protect the item inside the box

  • Wrap each item separately and use cushioning on every side, including the base and top.
  • Choose a strong outer carton with enough clearance so the item does not touch the edges.
  • Fill voids, seal all seams, and check that nothing moves when the closed box is gently handled.
  • Record the final package dimensions, gross weight, item value, and any special handling instructions.

A fragile label does not guarantee special carrier handling or insurance coverage. Confirm packaging suitability, carrier acceptance, and any protection options before dispatch.
