International parcels often contain several items and sometimes more than one package. Keep quantities, values, and package contents clear from the start.
Build an accurate parcel request
- List each item with a meaningful description, quantity, unit value, and origin country.
- Allocate whole or partial quantities to the packages that physically contain them.
- Record each package's outer dimensions and packed weight, then compare route-specific rates.
- Review the addresses, contents, and generated documents before the shipment is finalized.
Once booked
Each package can have its own tracking number. Its label, packing information, and public milestone history remain connected to the shipment.
Check prohibited or controlled goods before dispatch. Carrier acceptance and customs rules vary by destination.
