Prohibited Items

Clear guidance for confident international shipping.

An item may be prohibited by law, excluded by a carrier, or allowed only with special approval. The answer can change with the origin, destination, transport mode, and contents of the package.

Items that need immediate review

  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, and replicas.
  • Illegal or counterfeit goods, controlled substances, and goods restricted by import or export law.
  • Cash, precious metals, live animals, biological samples, and other high-risk articles.
  • Loose batteries, aerosols, chemicals, liquids, dry ice, and other potentially dangerous goods.
  • Food, medicines, plants, and perishables that may need permits or special handling.

How to check your shipment

  1. Describe every item accurately; do not use a vague label such as “gift” or “personal items” in place of an itemized description.
  2. Confirm the origin and destination rules and any carrier-specific restrictions.
  3. Provide supporting documents for regulated items and wait for written acceptance before handover.

This is not an exhaustive legal or carrier prohibition list. Mentioning an item here does not mean it is always banned, and omitting an item does not mean it is accepted. The operations team may refuse a shipment after review.
